Rarely does anyone know that many unpleasant symptoms that are not related to urination at all, but to brain function, digestion, blood pressure and even pain in the legs, are the result of kidney problems. Why do medical diagnoses do not find kidney problems? Why are many patients left without help – with their fatigue, pain? Now let’s talk about how the kidneys affect brain cells and the nervous system.

Few know that the kidneys also affect the nervous system. Unfortunately, kidney function is usually equated with a simple filter used on a farm. But this is not the case. Imagine that the cleaner washes the floor with water poured into a bucket. What does the cleaner does with used, dirty water? Pour it out and then take another, clean water, right? However, our body cannot afford such luxuries, because even in “dirty” blood there are important substances that would be too “expensive” and cumbersome to re-synthesize. Consequently, important substances must constantly return to the general bloodstream. It is difficult to imagine a filter that would be able to clean the liquid only from “dirt”, preserving valuable substances. But nature has solved this dilemma by creating a filter with a built-in biocomputer. And such a filter is the kidneys.

The kidneys filter 180 liters of fluid during the day. Of these, only 15 are excreted in the urine (1.3 – 2 liters per day). All other substances are absorbed back into the bloodstream through the renal ducts, the total length of which is measured in kilometers. The kidneys excrete about 200 toxic substances, ensuring a constant blood composition and homeostasis of the body. Imagine your kidneys need to maintain a sodium level of 3.3 grams per liter, no more, no less. If the amount of sodium changes by at least a gram, death is inevitable. The same is true of blood pH, which fluctuates by only 0.4 units and also causes death.

Of course, we will not talk about life and death. However, even minor kidney problems will literally “poison” your life and can become an invisible but determining factor in your illness and nervousness.

Doctors are well aware that the kidneys are “quiet and imperceptible” organs, as pain is rarely reported. There is also a lot of writing in the scientific literature about how difficult it is to recognize kidney problems, how often a kidney problems remain unseen and unrecognized. When a patient “feels” their kidneys, the disease has gone so far that the patient must either be attached to an artificial kidney, or think about a kidney transplant. However, most people live and do not even know that they are constantly poisoned. They do not turn to a urologist, but to other specialists: for shortness of breath and high blood pressure – for a cardiologist, for visual impairment – for an ophthalmologist … etc.

I can only add that it is not even possible to count how many people turn to a neuropathologist and psychiatrist for nerve problems, which is actually a symptom of kidney problems.

The situation is also exacerbated by the inexplicable increase in the number of patients with latent kidney problems:

Kidney problems without pain and other visible symptoms were observed in only 15-20% of patients in the 60s, 40% in the 70s, and more than half in the 80s … How many today – we do not know but probably increasing.

Toxins are always produced in our bodies – this is the price we pay for the breakdown and absorption of proteins. The more we consume proteins (animal products), the more toxins get into the blood and the kidneys have to work with extra strain. However, people consume too much animal protein. Then it is no wonder that the kidneys do not cope with their work. As a consequence – poisoned blood and accumulation of toxins in various tissues and organs, including the brain. Toxins such as urea, uric acid, phenols, indole, Creatine and others prevent nerve cells from getting enough nutrients. Why this is happening is not yet clear to science.

Nutritionists are in the habit of consuming a lot of meat and other animal products, and to somehow reduce the damage to health, they recommend “diluting” poisons with water. For this reason, they recommend drinking plenty of fluids, but it makes the kidneys even heavier.

Doctors are well aware that inflammation of the kidneys and bladder is difficult to detect, even with an ultrasonogram and analysis. And patients with chronic pyelonephritis (inflammation of the kidneys) get the usual answer “Your kidneys are healthy” after the tests.

At a scientific conference on neurology, we learned that chronic inflammation of the kidneys and bladder can manifest itself as fatigue, loss of appetite, insomnia, and other nerve disorders.

What causes chronic kidney inflammation? These are bacteria. However, it is very difficult to detect these bacteria by analysis alone. Even when the inflammation is acute, bacteria are found in only 50% of cases.

Inflammation of the kidneys and bladder is rare. Such an infection can only be acquired through sexual contact … The owners of sexually transmitted bacteria are determined by tests, but what happens to other patients?

For most people with inflammation of the kidneys or bladder, this is not an infection at all! It has not come from outside. The bacteria that caused the inflammation are the bacteria in your gut. Intestinal rod E.coli, enterococci and other intestinal bacteria. How did they get into your bladder? These bacteria have managed to break through the mucous membranes and get into the blood vessels. They then traveled to the ureters, bladder and even kidneys, and can also reach the prostate gland in men and the ovaries in women. How many of these bacteria should not be present in the urinary system results in inflammation. Of course, antibiotics can deal with this, but only until the next time other bacteria from the gut get to where they should not be. You can pass the tests, but you probably won’t find anything, because this is not an infection, but “your”, “your” bacteria.

What happens when the urinary system suffers from a regular intestinal bacterial infestation? What happens when the kidneys are overloaded with animal protein? You may not even feel inflamed – urination is normal, nothing hurts … But there are other symptoms:

* A weakened kidney cannot sufficiently break down the hormone gastrin, which increases stomach acidity. Then there is burning, fresh breath, acidity in the mouth, nausea, in more severe condition – gastritis, duodenitis, ulcer.

* A weakened kidney secretes less erythropoietin, a hormone that stimulates bone marrow cells. In turn, the bone marrow begins to produce fewer erythrocytes, low hemoglobin levels occur, and tissues begin to suffer from lack of oxygen. Iron preparations will not help in such cases. However, experience has shown that iron supplements rarely help at all. Work with the kidneys.

* The kidneys regulate vascular tone. The kidneys are responsible for low or high blood pressure. But in the former Soviet Union, vegetodystonia, a disease that does not exist, is still being treated. Recent research suggests that if you have ever had inflammation of your bladder, urethra, or kidneys at some point in your life (such as childhood), blame your kidneys for all your blood pressure problems.

* The less often you urinate, the worse! Women should normally go to the toilet once an hour, less often men, because their bladder is 3 times larger. If you don’t need it, ladies, that’s bad – it shows that your kidneys are weak.

Infrequent urination means that the kidneys filter the blood too slowly. Calcium, potassium and sodium in the blood are more than necessary. It causes thyroid disease.

* These are very complex biochemical reactions: a weakened kidney does not give glucose to the brain, but promotes fat accumulation, excess weight.
